Lo-Manthang, the capital of an ancient Himalayan Kingdom of Mustang, lies in the northern central part of Nepal and close to the Tibetan border. Languages, lifestyle, landscapes and culture, are similar to the Tibet so that it is also known as a “Tibet outside the Tibetan border”. This area is consider as one of the most interesting and picturesque places in Nepal. The whole area has an isolated and mystical feel to it, enchanting and inspiring visitors to this region. Being a controlled trekking route, allows organized trekking groups with special trekking permit so that the least numbers of tourist visit in this region early, which prove that it’s purity in nature and culture.
